A Sacred Home for Lord Murugan in Arizona

Rooted in devotion. United in community. Building a spiritual home for generations to come.

A newly formed Arizona nonprofit temple community

Welcome

A home for Murugan devotion, taking shape in Arizona

Sri Subramanya Swamy Temple of Arizona is a spiritual home for Murugan devotees in Arizona and around the world — a community gathering around prayer, festivals, service, youth, culture, and spiritual learning.

We are at the very beginning. There is no temple building yet and no public worship space. What exists today is a sincere intention, a growing circle of devotees, and an open invitation to walk with us.

Whether your practice comes from Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, or anywhere the name of Murugan is sung, you are welcome here.

One community woven from many languages, regions, and generations.

Festivals & Worship through the year

Krittika / Karthigai — the star of Lord Murugan — is especially sacred to him, and we envision it as the temple community's recurring monthly devotional observance. Pradosham is a Shiva observance that falls twice each lunar month.

Calendar dates are calculated for Phoenix, Arizona. Worship dates, times, locations, and programs are subject to confirmation by the temple and will be announced closer to each observance.
